With the summer holidays fast-approaching, Brighton & Hove Music & Arts (BHMA) and East Sussex Music (ESM) are pleased to launch their Digital Summer School; a family-friendly programme that offers a vast choice of online music education from £29.
The one-time payment allows young musicians to access a broad range of courses from 23 July to 1 September, including Guitar, Drums, Ukulele, Songwriting, Jazz Improvisation, Music Production and many more. It is the perfect toolkit to help encourage learners to get started with an instrument over the holidays.
Usually taking place in-person, BHMA/ESM’s previous summer schools have seen hundreds of young learners taking part in their educational activities. Online for 2021, these courses allow families to take part in the safety and comfort of their own home; they offer participants self-paced learning, as well as the opportunity to partake in live group masterclasses.
Emma Collins, Learning & Partnerships Manager for BHMA Said: “We’re so excited to be launching our Summer School again this year, whilst we can’t wait for this to return in-person in 2022, it’s so important to us that we can provide young musicians with the opportunity to continue learning key skills over the holidays. Our fun and friendly team of teachers have worked really hard to create a package that we hope will inspire, educate and spark the joy of music into everybody’s homes.”
