*Youth Orchestra requires an audition to join, and the next auditions will be held at the beginning of September.  In addition to clicking Apply, please also complete this audition application form to register your interest and we will be in touch with more details in the coming weeks.

This advanced ensemble is for wind, brass and percussion players, performing music in a variety of styles including movie themes, pop and rock arrangements, as well as the more traditional repertoire for this medium.

A great chance to experience playing in an orchestra and enjoy playing a wide range of string orchestra repertoire in different styles from Baroque to Contemporary.

String Group

Beginner - Grade 1

__

For young string players beginning their musical journey.  This group is ideal for Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass students who can pizzicato the open strings and play with the bow to those at grade 1 level.  A great introduction to ensemble playing through fun and creative sessions.

Acoustic Guitar Group

Unleash your passion for the Acoustic Guitar by performing songs you know with others.  Whether you are classically trained, come from the folk tradition or just like Rock/Pop style acoustic playing, you'll find fun in this group.  Acoustic Guitar group is open to guitarists who are around Grade 1 and above but will also be open for guitarists who can comfortably play through songs at speed.

Electric Guitar Group

This course is suitable for electric guitarists. Students will learn a range of styles including rock, pop, funk, soul. Players should be playing at Grade 1 standard and above .

This is open to advanced orchestral instrumentalists post grade 5, performing challenging repertoire including Brahms Symphony No.2 and 20th century works including film scores by Hollywood legend John Powell.

This is one of our more advanced ensembles and suitable for strings, woodwind, brass and percussion students, giving them the opportunity to rehearse and perform works of the symphony orchestra repertoire and receive special coaching.
