One of the most famous musical exports from East Sussex is Keane, the Battle-based Britpop band whose 2004 debut album, Hopes and Fears, sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Keane’s music is known for its anthemic melodies and emotional lyrics, and the band has been praised for its ability to connect with audiences of all ages.
